We have selected a data protection officer at Color Hotel Skagen who is responsible for ensuring the use of relevant knowledge and skills in order to process your personal information correctly. As a guest or customer with Color Hotel Skagen, you can also ask our data protection officer for assistance. It is the CEO at Color Line AS who is responsible for ensuring that we process all personal data correctly. However, to ensure that the data is managed in the best way possible, data processing is delegated to the individual managers in each of our departments.

Color Hotel Skagen does not share personal data with third parties, unless required by law. Color Hotel Skagen is legally required to provide personal data to certain public authorities, such as the police and the Danish Customs and Tax Administration (SKAT).

1. We must be in possession of a written enquiry

Rectification
We may only process personal data that is correct. If you believe that we are processing incorrect or misleading personal data about you, you may request that we rectify the data.

Erasure
When the purpose of collecting personal data has been achieved, Color Hotel Skagen has established a procedure for deleting the data. You have the right to request that your personal data is deleted. Provided there is no legal basis for continuing to store your personal data – such as legislation requiring data to be stored for a certain period of time – Color Hotel Skagen will accommodate your request. In accordance with the regulations on counting and registering guests, Color Hotel Skagen is obligated to record some of your personal data (for Danish guests: name, nationality, address, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth and additional general personal information. For foreign guests: name, address, country, nationality, birth date, arrival date, type of and number on passport or other travel identification) before you are permitted to stay with us. In order to fulfil our agreement with you as our customer and guest, Color Hotel Skagen must therefore process and store some of your personal data.

We have implemented the necessary security and organisational procedures to ensure that your personal data is protected against unlawful sharing, manipulation or deletion; and our employees know which personal data can and must be stored and for how long.

A guest / customer can, voluntarily and after own choice provide Color Hotel Skagen with additional personal data, which the guest / customers believe could have relevance for the service/stay – or think should be given for safety.

This could be information such as:

Handicap
Allergy
Special food preferences
Other health and medicine information

If a guest / customer voluntarily and after own choice chooses to provide such information, Color Hotel Skagen consider this to be a consent to be able to register and save these sensitive information about the guest / customer concerned.

In addition to the information which Color Hotel Skagen receives directly from guests / customers, Color Hotel Skagen will in some occasions collect or treat additional information that Color Hotel Skagen has received from a third party, such as a travel agent or an employee of the company where the registered person is employed.

Where this is the case, the third party is obliged to inform the guests / customers / suppliers in question about Color Hotel Skagen’s terms and conditions as well as Color Hotel Skagen’s personal data policy. It is also the responsibility of the third party concerned, to ensure that there is the necessary legal basis for collecting and processing the information in question, including obtaining the necessary consent to processing any sensitive information.

We have taken the necessary security and organizational measures, so that your personal data is secured against unauthorized disclosure, manipulation or delete, and our employees are aware of, which personal data that must be stored and for how long they are allowed to be stored.

We wish to offer you services and products that are suitable for you and your interests. This personal data is also used to manage the individual customer relationship, simplify the booking process for returning customers, and inform product development.

Color Hotel Skagen Hodefines a current customer as an individual who has stayed at Color Hotel Skagen within the past 2 years, and Color Hotel Skagen will send news and other information to such customers via e-mail approximately once a month during this period. In order to determine which news our customers find relevant, we collect information about whether our e-mails are read and whether you click on the links contained within these e-mails. This data is then used for analysis and targeted marketing initiatives. You may withdraw your consent to this at any time by contacting us.
